UMW Men's Golf Stands in Second Place After Day One at Eagle Invitational at Augustine Golf Club

The University of Mary Washington men's golf team stands in second place after one day of action at the first ever UMW Eagle Invitational at Augustine Golf Club in Stafford. The Eagles posted a 306 on Saturday, behind only North Carolina Wesleyan, who carded a 291 on the opening day.

For the Eagles, Ethan Kelly shot a 73 on Saturday, followed by Philip Manceri at 75, Jason Guintu at 76, and Austin Matz at 82. Brendan Kelly shot an 85.

The event will conclude on Sunday at Augustine with a 10 am first shot.
