The University of Mary Washington men's golf team opened the Spring semester by winning a one-day event, shooting a collective 315 at Long Bay Golf Club in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The Eagles finished nine shots ahead of second place Wake Tech. Freshman Phillip Manceri shot a (+3) 75, as did Jason Guintu, and the duo were medalists for the event, two shots ahead of the third place finisher. Ethan Kelly shot a +10 82, and Brendan Kelly shot a +11 83.
