The University of Mary Washington men's golf team completed day one of the Ted Keller Invitational on Monday in Ashland, Va. The Eagles stand in 17th place after one day of competition.

Austin Matz was the team's top finisher, shooting an 84, followed by Alex Caldas and Nathan Groner's 86. Zach Kaylor shot an 87, and Andrew Halmrast added a 91.

The competition will continue on Tuesday.
