UMW Men's Golf Ranks Third at Bay Creek Invitational After Day One

The University of Mary Washington men's golf stands in third place after one day of competition at the Bay Creek Invitational in Cape Charles, Va. The Eagles shot a 306 (+18), eleven shots off the pace set by first place Christopher Newport and five shots behind Vriginia Wesleyan.

Freshman Philip Manceri was the Eagles top finisher on day one, shooting a 74 (+2). Freshmen Jason Guintu and Ethan Kelly each carded a 76 (+4), and Brendan Kelly shot a +8 80.

The competition will continue on Tuesday.
