UMW Men's Golf Finishes Ninth at Shenandoah Invitational

The University of Mary Washington men's golf team finished in ninth place among 15 schools at the Shenandoah University Invitational on Sunday and Monday. The Eagles shot a collective 626 for a +58, seven shots out of fifth place.

Hampden Sydney College finished first at +15, ten shots ahead of second place Stevenson.

The Eagles trimmed four shots off their score from Sunday to Monday. Jason Guintu finished as the Eagles top scorer at +12 with a 78 on Monday. Marcus Cigna finished at +13 after a 78 on Monday, and Stefan Suh shot a 73 on Monday to finish +14. Zach Kaylor finished at +19, and Alex Caldas at +30.

The Eagles will be back in action next week at the CAC Fall Preview Tournament.
