Junior men's basketball standout Eric Shaw has been named as the UMW Wagner Wealth Management Athlete of the Month for January.

After scoring a career high 33 points on New Years Eve, Shaw blistered through January, scoring 29 points against Penn State Harrisburg, and adding 25 against third ranked Christopher Newport. He averaged 15.9 PPG in the month.
