Mary Washington senior forward DYLAN FARINET (Westmoreland, Va./Colonial Beach) was named the CAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 20, 2014.

Farinet scored a school-record 42 points in the Eagles’ victory over Penn State Harrisburg on Saturday, shooting 14-for-21 from the field and 8-for-12 from three-point range while also contributing team highs of 12 rebounds and five assists.

On Wednesday, he scored 18 points in 20 minutes after gaining early foul trouble to lead the Eagles past CNU, 76-65.

For the week, he averaged 30 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 62% from the floor, 58% from three-point land and a perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line in a 2-0 week for the Eagles.
