Team of the Week

The Team of the Week presented by Scoutware is D3hoops.com's weekly honor roll, in its 17th season of recognizing the top performance at each of the five positions from the previous week.

Women's

Devin Beasley
Beasley helped lead the Saints to a pair of road wins over Westminster (Pa.) and St. Vincent. She set the Thomas More single-game record for assists in a game against Westminster with 13 and then broke it with 18 against St. Vincent. The 18 assists was three shy of the Division III record. For the week, she averaged 15.5 assists, 1.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

Stephanie Kuzmanic
Kuzmanic scored a career-high 34 points, 21 in the second half, in the Lady Reds' 77-69 win over No. 12 Wheaton (Ill.). She connected on 11 of 17 field goals, including six of nine 3-pointers, along with eight rebounds and eight assists.  Kuzmanic followed with 21 points, six rebounds and four assists in a 73-63 win against Millikin.

Melissa Spahar
Spahar scored 36 points in John Carroll's first loss of the season, at Baldwin Wallace, shooting 12-for-24 from the floor and a perfect 11-for-11 from the line. She averaged 32.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots per game.

Lisa Murphy
Murphy led the Tartans to a 1-1 week, averaging 24.0 points and 15.0 rebounds while shooting 15-for-25 from the floor. In an overtime loss to No. 9 Emory, Murphy tied her career-high in points with 36 and converted a career-high 12-of-14 from the free throw line. She recorded double-doubles in both games, marking five for the season.

DeAndra Scott
Scott recorded a pair of double-doubles to give her 12 on the season, averaging 22.5 points and 17.5 rebounds for the Panthers. Her 18 rebounds vs. Sage tied a career-high.

Men's

Bryson Fonville
Fonville led Catholic to a 2-0 record and kept the Cardinals atop the Landmark Conference, averaging 26.0 points, 6.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds. Against Juniata, Fonville played the entire game without a turnover on his way to a career-high 33 points. He was 7-for-7 from the line and dished out four assists.

Malcom Kelly
Kelly scored 28 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the field, along with four rebounds, in a 67-62 win over No. 21 Wheaton (Ill.). Hecollected his 191st career 3-pointer to pass Antoine McDaniel (190, 200-03) as the Red Men's career 3-point leader. Kelly followed with a career-high 33 points on 12-of-16 shooting, including 5-for-6 on 3-pointers, along with five rebounds in a 76-68 win at Millikin.

Dylan Farinet
Farinet scored a school-record 42 points on 14-for-21 shooting, including 8-for-12 on 3-pointers, to lead Mary Washington past Penn State-Harrisburg. He added 12 rebounds and five assists. Against Christopher Newport, Farinet was forced to the bench less than two minutes into the game with foul trouble, but responded in the second half, scoring 18 points in 20 minutes. He shot 10-for-17 from beyond the arc for the week.

Jared Suderley
Suderley led Hartwick to a 3-0 week. He was 21-for-40 from the field. Against Stevens, he scored 24 points and tallied 16 rebounds in a 74-68 win. Suderley scored 20 points and pulled down 14 rebounds to go along with four assists in the Hawks' 131-124 OT win against Alfred. Against Houghton, he scored a season-high 36 points, pulled down 17 rebounds, and dished out four assists in a 96-82 victory. Suderley was a perfect 21-for-21 from the line for the week.

Chas Cross
Cross averaged 26 points, five rebounds and two blocked shots for the Pioneers, who split two games, defeating UW-La Crosse while losing to UW-Whitewater. Cross scored 12 of Platteville's last 22 points in the win over La Crosse. He shot 21-for-24 from the floor for the week, as well as 10-for-15 from the line.
