UMW Men Rise to #15 in D3Hoops.com National Poll

The University of Mary Washington men's basketball team rose to 15th in the nation in this week's D3Hoops.com's national poll, its highest ever ranking by the organization.

The Eagles, 13-2 on the season, were ranked 20th last week and defeated Penn State-Harrisburg and Christopher Newport last week. UMW has been ranked as high as 17th in the nation three times, including once this season and once in 2002-03 when the Eagles finished 24-5 overall and advanced to the NCAA Tournament after winning the CAC Tournament. That season, they were ranked as high as 12th by the NABC.
