The University of Mary Washington women's golf team finished its first ever event at the Washington & Lee University Generals Invitational in Lexington.

The Eagles were led by sophomore Andrea Dill, who finished in tied for 35th with a two day total of 173 (+29), as she shot an 87 on Tuesday. Emily Coppedge finished in 57th place with a two day total of 199, Madison McLean finished 63rd at 216, Amanda Maskell finished 64th at 218, and Natasha Greenwalt finished tied for 66th at 235.

UMW will be back in action on October 12 when they visit the Stevenson University Invitational.
