The University of Mary Washington men's golf team finished in first place at the Stevenson University Invitational on Saturday in Owings Mills, Md. UMW shot a collective 314 +30, three strokes ahead of one Stevenson steam that shot 317 and another that shot 318.
The Eagles' top finisher was freshman Sebastien Bonte, who carded a +5 76, while sophomore Ethan Kelly shot a +6 77. Sophomore Jason Guintu shot a +9 80, and sophomore Philip Manceri shot a +10 81. Sophomore Austin Matz shot a +14 85 to round out the Eagles' scorecards.
UMW will be back in action on Monday at the Ted Keller Invitational in Ashland, Va.
