UMW Men's Golf Stands in 10th Place Tie After Day One at Tom Kinder Invitational

The University of Mary Washington men's golf team played its inaugural round on Monday at the Tom Kinder Invitational in Harrisonburg, Va. The Eagles stand in a 10th place tie after day one results among 17 teams.

Freshman Ethan Kelly led the way for UMW in the first round, shooting a 73, which ranks t-12th. Sophomore Marcus Cigna shot a 77, tying for 38th, and freshman Phillip Manceri shot a 78 (T-50). Brendan Kelly shot an 81, and Austin Matz carded an 84.

The event will continue on Tuesday morning.
