University of Mary Washington junior forward Emma Bernard (Fredericksburg, Va./Chancellor) and senior midfielder Sydney Keating (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) have been named to the 2022 All-Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference field hockey team, as anounced by the league on Tuesday afternoon. Both were first team selections.
Bernard, who leads the league with 16 goals and 41 points, gains first team honors for the second straight season. She has scored two hat tricks this season, including a four-goal outburst in the opener, and recorded three game-winning goals.
Keating, an all-conference selection for the first time, has scored four goals and added six assists this season from the midfield. Her season high of one goal and two assists came in a 4-3 win at Rhodes College, as the Eagles roared back in the fourth quarter from a two-goal deficit to win.
The Eagles will open the C2C Tournament on Wednesday at Christopher Newport at 5:00 p.m.
