UMW Field Hockey Falls at #3 Salisbury, 6-0, on Saturday

The University of Mary Washington field hockey team dropped a 6-0 decision at third ranked Salisbury University on Saturday in Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference play. The Eagles slip to 4-9 on the season.

The Sea Gulls scored twice in the first quarter, added one in the second, and caged two in the third quarter before adding one in the fourth for the margin of victory.

The Sea Gulls led in shots, 47-1, as well as penalty corners, 18-2. UMW goalkeeper Bailey McNabb made a career-high 20 saves, and Annie Grace Louthan added a defensive save.

The Eagles will return to action on Wednesday when they visit Juniata College at 7:00 p.m.
