The University of Mary Washington field hockey team trailed 3-1 in the fourth quarter, but a pair of scores in the final five minutes tied the score, and another provided the game winner, as UMW topped Rhodes College, 4-3, on Saturday in Memphis. The Eagles improve to 3-0 on the season.

From there, UMW rallied, as Monique Lipton scored at 55:43, with assists from Sydney Keating and Emma Bernard. Keating then knotted the score at 57:48 on a Bernard assist, and Bernard caged her sixth of the season unassisted, 1:26 into overtime.

Rhodes led in shots, 14-10, while the Eagles led in penalty corners, 10-2. Eagle 'keeper Bailey McNabb made five saves on the day.

UMW will be back in action on Wednesday when they visit Shenandoah University at 7:00 p.m.
