Atlantic Union Bank Presents Inside the Nest - Bella Urcia, Field Hockey

In 2020-21, the University of Mary Washington Athletic Department is continuing its spotlight series, "Inside the Nest", presented by Atlantic Union Bank. Each month, we will be celebrating student-athletes from different communities within our department, as a partnership with the James Farmer Multicultural Center's Cultural Awareness series. This month, we will celebrate Women's History Month. Today, we meet a senior from the field hockey team, Bella Urcia!

What does women's history month mean to you?

Womens History month means more than just celebrating women's accomplishments in history, but in encouraging women today to follow their dreams and never take "no" as an answer.
