The eighth-ranked UMW field hockey team faces foe Salisbury University on Saturday at the Battleground at 1 pm, and the volleyball team will look to remain among the elite in the CAC with a home match against St. Mary's College at 3 pm in the Anderson Center.

The field hockey team, 13-0 on the season, will put its undefeated record on the line against seventh-ranked Salisbury. The two teams have combined to win 22 of the 23 CAC Championships all time, with the Sea Gulls taking 16, but UMW has won two of the last three.

The volleyball match against St. Mary's will now be played at 3 pm. Both teams enter Saturday's key match with just one loss in conference play, one loss out of first place in the league.
