The University of Mary Washington equestrian team opened the 2023-24 season on Sunday at Swee Briar College, and gained reserve high point team honors.

Kate Howlin was 1^st in her open flat class and second in open over fences. This led to her competing in a ride off and end the day as reserve high point rider. Ann Camp was first in the intermediate over fences and third in intermediate flat.

Abby Mills was fifth in Limit over fences and first in intermediate flat. Annabella Nonamaker was Fifth in limit over fences and fourth in Limit flat, and Eliza Lavioltte fourth in Limit flat.

Emma Nadj. was 5^th in limit flat and 6^th in limit over fences. And lastly for the novice division Olivia Millier was 1^st, Miranda Herd was 3^rd and Anna Wood was 4^th.
