Over the weekend, February 11th and 12th, the equestrian team hosted a double header at our facilities, EKG Stables. The team had a very successful weekend with incredible rides from all members.
On Saturday, Kate Howlin opened the horse show with a strong start placing 4th in Open Flat and taking 1st in Open Fences. Caitlin Shirvinski rode to 3rd place in Intermediate Flat and 5th in the over fences. Ann Camp placed 5th in Intermediate Flat and 3rd in Intermediate Fences. Adrianna Brame placed 4th in both Intermediate Flat and Intermediate Fences. Emma Nadjazionek had two outstanding rides placing 1st in Limit Flat and 2nd in Limit Fences, making her High Point Rider of the Day. Abby Mills placed 1st in Limit Flat and 3rd in Limit Fences. Annabella Nonamaker placed 3rd in Limit Flat as well. Mia Gibson and Kinsey Brotman placed 1st in Novice Flat, qualifying them for Regionals. Isabella Bird placed 3rd in Novice Flat and MC Woodrum placed 5th. Emmy Goggin placed 6th in Introductory Flat.

Eliza LaViolette also had great rides, placing 1st in Limit Flat and 3rd in Limit Fences, making her the Reserve High Point Rider of the Day. Olivia Miller placed 2nd in Novice Flat. MC Woodrum placed 4th in Novice Flat and Isabelle Bird placed 3rd. Amber Villalobos placed 4th in Pre-Novice. Finally, Emmy Goggin wrapped up the day with a great ride in Introductory Flat.
