The UMW riding team hosted the IHSA Tournament of Champions Winter Classic Saturday at Hazelwild Farm. This show is part of a different series than the Eagles typically compete in and draws some of the best teams in the country with teams coming from as far as Georgia and Ohio. 

The Eagles had nine riders compete and four place. These included Erika South placing third in Novice Over Fences, Julianna Ianuzi placing 5th in Open Over Fences, Ruth Wilmot placing 6th in Walk Trot, and Alexandra Buchanan placing 9th in the Low Medal. 

The next show is February 9th at Liberty University.
