The University of Mary Washington riding team just competed on Saturday at the Virginia Commonwealth University show, finishing as the Reserve High Point Team. Julianna Ianuzi was High Point Rider for the day.
Highlights include Ianuzi placing first in Open Flat, and also placing in Intermediate Fences, Mary-Margaret Burns placing first in Advanced Walk Trot Canter, and Mary Andrews placing first in Beginning Walk Trot Canter.
In addition to first place, the Eagles also saw Olivia Blake place second in Open Flat, Alexandra Buchanan place second in Novice Fences, and Rachel Wright place third in Walk Trot.
UMW will be in action again on November 3 at the University of Richmond.
