The University of Mary Washington riding team finished in third place at the Sweet Briar show on Sunday, just four points out of first place.

 

Highlights included Julianna Ianuzi placing first in Intermediate Flat, Rachel Hundley placing second in Beginner Walk Trot Canter, Ruth Wilmot placing second in Walk Trot, Margaret Lebor placing third in Intermediate Fences, Virginia Newman placing third in Novice Fences, and Olivia Blake placing third in Open Flat. 

 

In addition, Ianuzi pointed out qualifying her for Intermediate Flat at Regionals in the Spring and Hundley acquired enough points to move from Beginner Walk Trot Canter to Advanced Walk Trot Canter.
