The University of Mary Washington riding team kicked off the Spring semester with a reserve high point team finish at the Liberty University show, finishing one point out of the top spot.
The Eagles gained blue ribbons from Julianna Ianuzi in intermediate on the flat, and from Ruth Wilmot in walk trot. Erika South and Megan Mahoney each finished third in their advanced walk trot canter classes, and Emily Batt was fourth in her class.
Meredith Gregory was third in her novice fences class, and Alexandra Buchanan was third in her novice on the flat class. Kayla Paluch was third in her open over fences class, and Olivia Blake was third in open on the flat.
The Eagles will host a pair of shows next weekend at Hazelwild Farm.
