University of Mary Washington's Olivia Blake finished seventh in the nation in the novice on the flat competition at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association national show on Thursday in Lexington, Ky.

Blake, who had finished first in the zone championships, concludes another successful season for the riding program, which has seen a rider advance to nationals in 15 of the past 18 years.
