The University of Mary Washington riding team captured first place team honors with four class wins at the University of Richmond Show on Saturday in Richmond in the first show of the season.

UMW gained wins from Emily Dunn in intermediate on the flat and intermediate over fences, and gained reserve high point rider honors for the day. Allison Skowronski won her walk-trot class, and Fallon Wright won her novice over fences class.

The Eagles will be back in action next Saturday when they will compete at the Virginia Commonwealth show at 10:00 a.m.
