Kimberly Counts Finishes 10th of 38 Riders at IHSA Nationals in Cacchione Cup Competition

University of Mary Washington junior Kimberly Counts finished 10th among 38 riders after the equitation on the flat and over fences competitions and work off in the Cacchione Cup at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association national show in Springfield, Mass.

Counts was the high point rider for the region, riding in the competition among her peers as high point riders in each region. She follows Molly Banfield '14, who won the regional title the past two years. Her 10th place finish in the Cacchione Cup is believed to be the highest in school history.
