UMW Riding Garners Three Blue Ribbons at Randolph-Macon; Places Second in Team Standings

The University of Mary Washington riding team saw three riders win their class at the Randolph-Macon College show on Saturday, while finishing in second place in the team competition.

Daniel Odum took first in his novice fences class, while Kimberly Counts took first in her open on the flat class. Emily Rothstein finished first in her advanced walk trot canter class.

The Eagles finished second in the team standings, but still hold a comfortable lead in the regional standings. UMW will compete again next weekend by hosting a pair of shows on Saturday and Sunday.
