The University of Mary Washington riding team placed third at day two of the Christopher Newport University Invitational on Sunday.

Winners for the Eagles included Allison Skrownski in walk trot, Cat Oliver in Walk trot canter, and Kimberly Counts in open flat. Counts was named reserve high point rider for the show.

The Eagles will return to action on February 7 at the Randolph-Macon College show.
