UMW Riding Team Places First at William and Mary Show

The University of Mary Washington riding team finished in first place at the College of William and Mary Show on Sunday in Williamsburg. The Eagles brought home high-point team honors with 42 points.

Molly Banfield won her open on the flat class, and Morgan Brown took first in her intermediate on the flat class. Kimberly Counts won at novice fences, Elicia Franchini won at beginning walk-trot-canter, Cat Oliver took first at advanced walk-trot-canter, and Janie Houlgrave took first at walk-trot.

The Eagles will compete at Christopher Newport University on November 9.
