UMW Riders take First at Randolph-Macon/Richmond Show; Banfield takes Top Honors

The University of Mary Washington riding team saw five first place finishes - including two from high point rider Molly Banfield - in taking first place at the Randolph-Macon College/University of Richmond Show in Richmond on Saturday. The eagles amassed 44 points on the day.

Banfield finished first in her open on the flat and open over fences classes. Kimberly Counts was first in her novice over fences class, and Alyssa Smallridge was first in her advanced walk-trot-canter class. Priscilla Houlgrave was first in walk-trot.

The Eagles will be back in action on November 3 when they visit the College of William and Mary show in Williamsburg.
