University of Mary Washington rider Elicia Franchini finished second in the nation in the walk trot category at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association's national championships on Friday in Harrisburg, Pa.
UMW's Molly Banfield, competing in the Cacchione Cup event which features both flat and fences competition, will continue at the IHSA Championships on Saturday.
