The 2004-05 season saw Mary Washington finish in second place in the regional standings, and nearly saw them pull off an unbelievable comeback in the final show of the year. The Eagles, who had nine riders advance to the regional show, had seven riders at the zone championship, and two riders, K.D. Klepper and Kane Ramsey, advance to the national championships.

UMW had an outstanding season, taking first place at the University of Richmond, St. Mary's College of Md., and the College of William and Mary.
