2002-03 Mary Washington College Riding in Review

The 2002-03 season, which was the first for head coach Keri Pilling, saw the Eagles get off to a good start, winning the season-opening show at St. Mary's College, with Jessica Mangun taking reserve high-point rider honors. The Eagles went on to take first place team honors at the University of Richmond, as well as the UMW home show in February, which began an ascent to a second place finish in the region. Five members of the team qualified for the zone show, which MWC hosted. Kasey Tross was the Eagles' top finisher, placing fourth in walk-trot, while Rachael Reynolds was fifth in intermediate flat. Sarah Miller took eighth in open flat, Cassandra Crouse was ninth in novice flat, and Jana Lipski finished ninth in her walk-trot-canter class.
