The pitching proved to be strong as well, posting the league’s second lowest earned run average while the defense lead in fielding percentage.

Faucher, a former City College of New York student-athlete, earned City University of New York Athletic Conference postseason honors in 2009 after leading the Beavers in batting average and on-base percentage. His senior season he led the club in home runs and walks. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
