In the ninth, Sink's speed played a factor in the winning run, as his bunt was misplayed, and he advanced to second on the error. Anglin singled to move the freshman to third, and he scored on a sacrifice fly to right field with the veentual winning run.

Junior Jake Black earned the win with 4.2 innings of three-hit shutout ball. Black walked three and struck out three. Offensively, Lilley led the Eagles with three hits, while Haught singled and tripled. Anglin and Cam Kostyack each singled twice.
