2018 Inter-Regional Rumble Information

2018 Inter-Regional Rumble
Hosted by Oberlin College
October 13, 2018

Instructions and Reminders
We have decided to go with a varsity race capped at ten runners per gender. You may put up to ten runners in the varsity races. You will be allowed unlimited entries in the open races. There will be no need to declare a top ten prior to the race.

We are going to ask, as a courtesy, that coaches put any men who may run over 31:30 for 8000 meters into the open race, even if they are in your top ten. This will provide a better competitive experience for both the lead runners in the varsity race and for those over 31:30 for 8000 meters.

Chip Return:

We will be using disposable chips for our race. There will be no need to return chips after the completion of races.

The Course:

The course is made up entirely of soft surfaces - grass, wood chips, and cinders. Even under wet conditions the course runs fast. 1/4" to 3/8" spikes should suffice on the course.
