Beth Druvenga begins her fifth year as Head Athletic Trainer at the University of Mary Washington, after serving two years as Assistant Athletic Trainer.

"I am pleased to announce that Beth Druvenga has accepted the position as our Head Athletic Trainer", said UMW Director of Athletics Patrick Catullo. "With her leadership style, professionalism and experience with UMW Athletics, Beth will be able to provide an exceptional staff and student-athlete experience."

She has experience at the NCAA Division 1, Division 3, and secondary school levels. Beth completed her B.A. in Athletic Training at Central College (IA) in 2012 and an M.S.Ed in Athletic Training at Old Dominion University in 2014.

While at Old Dominion she worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Norfolk State University providing care to student athletes participating in all sports, and worked primarily with softball and volleyball. Beth is also a guest writer for the BOC Blog about current topics and issues in athletic training and sports medicine.

She lives in Fredericksburg and when she’s not at work she enjoys reading, crocheting, cooking/baking, spending time outside, and being a foster dog mom. She is BOC certified, licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine, a member of the NATA and CPR/AED and first aid certified.
