Phyllis Quinn

One of the top swimmers of her era who also played one season of basketball, Quinn led Mary Washington to Virginia AIAW Small College State Championships, and advanced to the AIAW National Championships in her senior season of 1977. A three year team captain, Quinn set a state record in the 50 yard butterfly in 1977. After graduating with honors, she has continued to compete in multiple triathlons and has swum in 29 Waikiki Rough Water Swims, regularly finishing in the top five in her age class and serving on committees with Pacific Masters Swimming, U.S. Masters Swimming, and the Olympic Club Foundation.
