Roy Gordon

Gordon, who recently retired from the University after 34 years, is one of the most successful coaches in NCAA soccer history, winning 432 games. The first coach in men's soccer and men's tennis history at the University, he was an eight-time CAC Coach of the Year in soccer, won the NSCAA regional coach of the year award five times, and led UMW to nine NCAA Division III Tournaments during his tenure. He also led the men's tennis team to five CAC Championships and led the team to its first NCAA Tournament, in 1997.
