James completed his career as the winningest player in singles play in UMW men’s tennis history, with 90 wins. He also ranks third all-time in overall victories for singles and doubles with 164, as he also won 74 doubles matches in his career. A member of the CAC Silver Anniversary Team, James gained All-America honors in singles from 2007-2009, and advanced to the round of 16 in the NCAA Tournament each season. He claimed he CAC Rookie of the Year in 2006 and CAC Player of the Year in 2007 and 2009.
