Why did you choose University of Mary Washington?

I had never heard of UMW until the assistant softball coach contacted me my junior year of high school. I visited UMW and instantly fell in love with the campus. I thought it was the perfect size and far enough away from home for me.

Favorite Spot on Campus?

My favorite spot on campus is the HCC

What are your plans post Mary Wash?

My plans after UMW are to get a Grad Assistant coaching position for softball and to get my masters

What advice would you give incoming Eagles?

My best advice for freshmen would be to stay on a schedule (buy a planner), take advantage of all the opportunities UMW presents and go out and meet people. Your time here will only be as fun as you make it.

What does Women's History Month mean to you?

As a female athlete, I think it is important that we recognize the strong women that have come before us. Their accomplishments should be recognized and celebrated because of the opportunities it has opened for us and for future generations of women.  Women's History Month helps us celebrate these women.

"The success of every woman should be the inspiration to another. We should raise each other up"- Serena Williams
