Nearly 100 golfers assembled at Augustine Golf Club on Friday, June 21 for a beautiful day of golf to raise funds for the University of Mary Washington athletic department. The 24 foursomes were treated to pre-round breakfast and beverages, 18 holes of competitive golf with prizes awarded for longest drive, closest to the pin, as well as prizes for the top three teams as well as the last place ("honest golfers") awards, and a post-round barbeque dinner.

All money raised through the event will further the Eagle Club's mission to enhance the University's holisitic student-athlete experience which emphasizes rigorous academics, leadership development, sports performance, and community engagement.
