Sophomore cross country champion Teagan Young (shown with Aric Wagner) has been named as the UMW Wagner Wealth Management Athlete of the Month for November.
Young, UMW's top runner this fall, won the Capital Athletic Conference Championship by a decisive 21 seconds, and then became the first UMW women's runner to ever claim first at the NCAA Regional, and was subsequently named the CAc Runner of the Year as well as the USTFCCCA Regional Runner of the Year. She capped the season by taking 44th place at the NCAA Championship.
