Sophomore basketball player Brianne Comden (shown with Aric Wagner) has been named as the UMW Wagner Wealth Management Athlete of the Month for December.
Comden has helped lead the women's basketball team to an 8-3 start to the season, scoring 11.5 points per game and 5.3 rebounds per contest. She has reached double figures in every game since the beginning of December, including 22 points in an 83-44 win at Shenandoah University. She was named as the Capital Athletic Conference Player of the Week for her play over holiday break.
