The large amounts of snow that have blanketed the Mid Atlantic region have caused numerous postponements and cancellations among UMW's athletic schedules for the weekend.
Baseball's openeing weekend, with one game Friday against Neumann and three games over Saturday and Sunday against Cortland State, have all been wiped out. Saturday's track meet at Ursinus College has been canceled, and Saturday's men's lacrosse game against Hampden-Sydeny College has been postponed until Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
The baskeball games on Saturday against Wesley College will still be played as scheduled, as of Thursday evening, as will the weekend indoor women's tennis matches. Please check umweagles.com for the latest schedule changes due to the winter storm.
