First Meeting: September 3,2015
7:30 p.m. start time- 42 representatives attended, only team not represented: Men’s Soccer
1. Sign In- Sheet was handed out and passed around
2. In-season Sports Recap- each in-season sport representative spoke about the updates regarding their season as well as their upcoming games.

4. Elections- Congrats to the 2015-2016 SAAC officers:
· Coordinator for Special Initiatives- Kris Currie
· Service Coordinator- Caroline Cerand
· Secretary-Shelby Harris
· Vice President- Hunter Causey
· President-Tyler Houston
5. Community Service Update- Start having teams think about the Can Food Drive to CAN CNU
6. Wesley Update- The following dates are set for Win4Wesley Game Days:
· September 9- Field Hockey Under the Lights Game against Bridgewater
· October 17- Women’s Soccer against Marymount
· October 17- Men’s Soccer against Salisbury
· October 21- Women’s Volleyball against St. Mary’s
· November 7- Men’s and Women’s Swimming against Marymount
· All teams are encouraged to make Wesley a feel better message in the upcoming week, send to Shelby Harris sharris5@mail.umw.edu
7. Eagles Helping Eagles Update- Encourage teammates sign up as tutors and tell fellow teammates about the services available. Any athletes interested can email Philip or Coach Wright. A Facebook page will be made for EHE and this will include a place to buy/sell textbooks to fellow student-athletes.
8. Eagle Nation Day- SEP. 12TH—The sign up sheet is attached to this email with given times and duties for each SAAC rep. Email Philip if there is a conflict with the times.
9. SAAC Twitter- Go follow UMW_SAAC on Twitter!!!!
10. Connecting with fellow SAAC Reps- Dallas from Men’s Swimming has made a Google Doc that each SAAC rep can put their social media usernames in order to connect with one another and make life long friendships! The link is below so go check it out!
