Goolrick Gymnasium/Natatorium

Goolrick Hall (75,000 square feet of activity space) is home to the UMW Athletic offices, as well as training and weight room facilities and Goolrick Natatorium, home of the highly-successful Eagle swimming teams.

Among the attractions in Goolrick are newly refurbished office suites for athletics administration, newly renovated coaches' offices, and a beautiful student-athlete lounge with full kitchenette, study tables, and flat screen television.

UMW hosted the CAC Swimming Championships at Goolrick from 1991 through 2005. The newly-refurbished varsity weight room contains more than 50 working stations in an 8,000 square-foot area, and athletes also have a multi-faceted training room at their disposal.

A 15,000 square foot fitness center is connected to Goolrick, and houses approximately 8,000 square feet of activity space for the student body's usage. That facility includes treadmills, free weights, and other state-of-the-art fitness equipment.
