Join the University of Mary Washington’s Director of Athletics, Ken Tyler, and head basketball coaches Deena Applebury and Rod Wood, for a day of fun, food, and fellowship in Arlington on Saturday, December 7. Visit with fellow alumni and basketball parents, and hear from Tyler, both coaches, and former Redskin great and NFL Hall-of-Famer Darrell Green before heading to the hardwood to cheer on the women’s basketball team at 2:00 p.m. and the men’s basketball team at 4:00 p.m. 

The free event begins at 12:00 p.m. in the Lee Reception Room, located in Reinsch Library. We will serve cold hors d’oeuvres, and beverages, and hand out fun prizes. The pregame reception will end promptly at 1:45 p.m. so there is ample time to walk over to the basketball arena (Rose Benté Lee Center) and see warm-ups. Darrell Green will be with us throughout the day for conversation and lots of photos.
